MW2 Prestige mode is a mode for higher level players. You will not have the option to go prestige until you reach level 70 at least. At that point you will have the option to go Prestige or not. The choice is yours but you must know that when you choose to go Prestige there is no turning back! With Prestige you will get new symbols for your rank and they are different for each prestige till 10th prestige. Also you will receive new challenges, new awards and symbols BUT you will not receive new weapons any longer. There will also be new emblems and call signs for you if you decide to go prestige.
